This book is fuckin’ craaaazy. You’ll love it! I picked it up for the Kindle because I liked the cover, and because things that are instantly delivered to your wireless device seem free. Have you noticed that? I will buy any. fucking. book. for the Kindle.
And sometimes, you’re filled with regret and self-loathing, and other times, you’re all MAGICAL SERENDIPITY, you know? I literally emailed people and was all THIS FUCKING BOOK, guys! The exact same week I did that for “Celine Dion’s Let’s Talk About Love: A Journey To The End of Taste.” It was a great week for the Kindle.
Anyway, it’s Rushfield’s memoir of being at Hampshire College in the 1980s. Picture the exact opposite of “Metropolitan.” Don’t you IMMEDIATELY want to know more?
And it’s so gloriously fucked-up that I was all, I should Google this guy, because I really hope he pulled his life together. Which he did! Mazel tov, Richard!
